Pics of the kids

Back in May, I had an old neighbor of ours, Vivien Van Leeuwen, take pictures of the kids for Will's six month pics and of them in their Easter outfits together.

The kids did great on the photo shoot and there were so many good ones it was hard to narrow them down!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a fun and busy Father's Day weekend! On Saturday, we went up to Pineview Reservoir to celebrate with Clay's family.

We were hoping to be able to hang out on the beach and enjoy some sun but the weather did not cooperate! It rained most of the time we were there and the water was so high, there was no beach to hang out on! Instead we hung out at the campground under some canopies and ate some yummy food. It was still fun...at least until it started pouring and we were all getting wet despite the coverings over our heads!

Both kids passed out on the way home!

On Sunday, we spent the day with my family. All the other married kids were with their in-laws so it was a small group. We had a yummy dinner and Addie enjoyed monopolizing all of Grandpa's time. She LOVES to play in his car!

I am lucky to have so many great fathers (and grandfathers) in my life! I love you all so much!! Addie & Will love you all too!

He's on the move!

Nothing is safe anymore! That second video was taken a few days ago. He can now go about halfway across a room without stopping or going down to his tummy- then back up on all fours again!

He's going to be my trouble maker- he already likes to get into things he isn't supposed to!

More Family Time!

Kolby, Jami and the girls came in for the funeral so we got to see them twice within a few months! Addie was loving having some girl cousins here to play with!

One night, Addie and Clay went with them to see "UP". Addie was grinning ear to ear for the first half hour of the movie. She was in heaven with her cousins, watching a movie and eating licorice. She got a little scared in the movie but overall enjoyed it.

The last night they were here, we had a BBQ and then Uncle Gray brought out a fire pit to roast marshmallows. It was a hit!

Granny Goose

Granny Goose passed away a few weeks ago. We sure are going to miss her. What an amazing woman! She was so kind, giving, happy, and loving to everyone.

She lived an incredible, full life! It was wonderful to hear all the old and new stories about her. She always kept us laughing!

We love you and miss you Gaga Goose!

Swimming!

Addie got to go swimming at our pool for the first time this season! Aunt Cardin came over to swim and took Addie with her. Good thing they enjoyed it before we got this stretch of yucky weather!

At first she didn't want to get into the water- just wanted to sit on the steps and direct everyone! I came home and got her arm floaties and then she finally moved off the steps!

Once she was finally swimming in the water, some kids were splashing around. Addie turned to them and asked them not to splash! Silly girl!

Thanks for taking her Cardi! She had fun!
