Happy New Year everyone! We hope that 2013 is a wonderful year for all!
It has been a busy few months around here and the blog has once again been put on the back burner.
My first resolutions for 2013 are to get my blog all caught up by the end of January (so watch out for post overload the next few weeks) and to stay caught up!!! Really hoping this is a resolution I can keep....I have so many fun pictures, memories and moments to record!!!
Stay tuned!

Soccer
Will is having a fun time doing his indoor soccer league. He's so fun
to watch as he runs around with a big smile on his face. He's getting a
little more into it...but is mostly happy just hanging around the
outside.

Santa Photos
This year, I heard of a local fundraiser for a little girl with cancer that was doing professional photos with Santa. All you had to do was donate what you could and you'd get digital copies of your pictures. I decided to take the kids over and have their pictures taken. The setup was awesome! So much better than going to the mall and I got a bunch of pictures too! They turned out so cute!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We finally finished getting our Christmas decorations up the beginning of December! I'm really loving them this year!!!
It just feels so cozy and warm! Love Christmas time!

Temple Square
We decided to take advantage of the last stretch of warm weather in November and head downtown to see the lights!
We started off with some dinner at Blue Lemon and then walked over to Temple Square. The lights were beautiful! It rained on us most of the time we were out there but it wasn't too cold so it wasn't bad at all.
After we were done at Temple Square, we headed over to City Creek to get out of the rain! We went and saw the candy windows at Macy's and then did some window shopping!
A perfect way to start off the Christmas season!

Leg Lamp Lighting
Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time for the next holiday....CHRISTMAS! Yay!
We started with the tree on Friday....
Our elf, Chimnick, came back from the North Pole on Saturday morning...
and Christmas would not be complete at the Blackham house without the leg lamp...
This year, Clay decided to go all out and had a leg lamp "lighting" party. He spent most of the afternoon making his famous homemade donuts for it! We invited neighbors, friends, family...whoever wanted to come and had donuts and hot chocolate in the garage before we "lit" the lamp.
It was a fun time! There wasn't much left when it was done!
