Sam's Baby Blessing

 

As if we didn't have enough going on during the 4th of July weekend, we decided we'd go ahead and bless Sam that Sunday while we had family in town.  Clay did a great job with the blessing and Sam was a perfect little angel...slept right through it! 

 

 

 

We came back to our house and had lunch out in the backyard after.  It was a little warm but we set up some shade tents and it was nice to not be crammed into the house!!

Thanks to all our friends and family who came and supported us.  We love you all.

4th of July Weekend

As always, we had a busy 4th of July weekend!!!  Here are some of the things we did!

Celebrated cute Lexi's 1st Birthday! 

Cardin and Mitch were visiting and got to meet Sam for the first time!

Oakley Rodeo (Sam even went - he slept through the first half and ate through the second half!)

So fun to have aunts and uncles and cousins in town!!!

4th of July

Sam turned two weeks old on the 4th of July!!!   As you can see he is still VERY loved. :)

 

 

 

We started the day off with a pancake breakfast with some of our neighbors and then we headed up to Gaga's house for swimming.  It was Sam's first real "trip" anywhere besides to the Dr. and out for pictures.   Of course, he had his first and only real "poop explosion" and we didn't even know it!  It was everywhere!!! 

We got him cleaned up and then he just slept in his carseat while the others swam and had a good time. 

That night we launched pop bottle rockets and watched fireworks from our neighbors lawn! We have some awesome neighbors!!!

  

This was just the start to a BUSY and FUN weekend for us! Happy 4th of July!
