Yes, it is true. Addie is going to be a big sister.



I am currently 13 weeks (yes! we kept it a secret that long)! My due date is October 21st. We have been to the Dr. and the baby seems to be doing well and has a good, strong heartbeat.

This pregnancy has been pretty different from my pregnancy with Addie. I was lucky enough to have a very easy first pregnancy. This one hasn't been too bad- nausea off and on since about 5 1/2 weeks but no throwing up. I am definitely more tired this time but I don't know if I should blame that on being pregnant or chasing a 2 year old around!

We've talked about it with Addie a lot and we think she's understanding it a little. The other night I was tickling and wrestling with her when she told me to "be careful of my baby sister in my tummy (referring to her tummy)."

Addie goes back and forth about whether it's a girl or a boy- most of the time she thinks it's a baby sister. We'll see if she's right!

Anyway, we are really excited about having another little one join the family! We'll be sure to post updates throughout the pregnancy.
