Moving Day!
We closed on our new house out in Riverton on Monday, April 26th. That night (and many nights before) we were up late trying to get the remaining stuff packed up. The garage was packed pretty full of boxes and we still hadn't got everything packed up!
On Tuesday morning, I took Addie to school and Clay, Rex, Grayson, Adrian and our neighbor Dave, started packing up the stuff in the garage. When I got home around 10, the garage was emptied out and so was about half of the house! They had the trailer and trucks completely packed full by 11 so we called to see if we could at least get into the garage at the new house and luckily, the keys were ready! So, they took the first load and unloaded it and came back for the second/final big load by 1. The house was pretty much empty except for all the odds and ends things by about three that day. I was shocked that we got it all moved so quickly (but glad since a nasty storm rolled in the next day)- I thought we'd have to move everything but the beds the first night and then move beds the next day but they got it all!
It was a long, exhausting day and we were all spent. Of course, once we all got here to the new house, we still had beds to put back together and blinds to put up at least in the kids rooms. It wasn't the best first night in a new house- it felt weird to be sleeping here and it didn't help that we were having a crazy wind storm so it was really noisy! We all survived though.
We've been in the new house for a month now and have most of the necessary boxes unpacked and put away. Nothing on the walls yet but we'll get there. Right now, our priority is the yard, but the weather has not been cooperating with us!We all love the house, we love the space and the neighborhood. We are so happy with the move and where we have ended up. We just wish we could bring all our friends and family over here with us!Here are a few pictures...will post more after I play catch-up on some of the events that have been going on in April and May.

Thanks to our wonderful friends and family who helped us with the move- whether it was the moving part, watching kids, helping clean, whatever!!! We love and appreciate you all!
