He has a very sweet and tender disposition. He's still very much a mama's boy but is usually more than happy to see Dad or Addie. He loves to give high fives and bones to just about anyone and really loves being around all his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He absolutely adores his big sister and worships the ground she walks on most of the time. He loves it when she plays with him and gets so upset when she doesn't want him playing with her or her friends. I love to see them interacting and having fun with each other- those are truly joyful moments in a mothers life.
He is talking up a storm, using sentences and a lot of his "baby" words are disappearing! It's so sad when they start using the right words for things! I wish I could just record all the things he says each day because everything sounds so much cuter when he says it! Some of our favorite Will words/sayings are: "wah" instead of "yeah" in response to something, "get wirm" which means, wrap me up in my blanky so I can get warm!, chocat is his word for anything that is chocolate or brown (brown is not a color according to him- it's chocat), "movin" the lawn, "tatch the ball to me" (throw the ball to me!), that's cute (in a high pitched, soft voice), he just has us constantly laughing at the things he comes up with! His newest things to say are, "I had it first" or "Addie's buggin me"! A true younger sibling!
He is an excellent sleeper- especially for naps. He just loves his sleep! He goes to bed around 8:30 most nights, he kicks around and talks for a little while and then usually sleeps till between 7:30-8am then goes down for a nap around 1:30 and will usually sleep for 2-3 hours! He is still in his crib and we plan to keep it that way for awhile - we have a feeling that he's going to be a bit of a stinker and that his sleep won't be as good once he has the freedom of a big bed! He loves to be wrapped up and covered under his favorite big blanky even if it's hot and he still uses a binky when he sleeps and sometimes when he's awake.
He is a decent eater- he likes a lot of flavor and is more adventurous than his sister. He likes being able to dip things like carrots in ranch, chips in salsa or bean dip, almost anything in ketchup! He doesn't like noodles or pasta- except for mac n cheese. He will eat some meats and is hit and miss with his veggies. He does love pretty much any kind of fruit and he LOVES his milk or "nilk" as he calls it. I have to limit him to 3 sippy cups a day or he won't eat food! He also loves licorice or "ririce", donuts, ice cream or "i sing", Oreos or "wowos", and CANDY!
He is still such a featherweight! The kid probably weighs 22 lbs with clothes and soaking wet! His pants are always falling down (even with an adjustable waist and the waist rolled!) and we are afraid what will happen when he doesn't have a diaper to help keep them up! He has been growing quite a bit in height the last few months so we are happy to see that. He is really starting to turn from a toddler into a little boy now.
He loves playing with his friends. His best buddy, Jesse, lives next door and they ask to play with each other all day long. They love to ride their wiggle cars and jump on the trampoline together. They ride their wiggle cars so much that they've both worn out multiple pairs of shoes from dragging their feet as they ride. They go pretty fast and remind me of a little "gang" when they ride down the sidewalk together because they are so loud (as you can see in the video)!
He loves going to church and to nursery- to play with all his friends and the toys. He is a pretty good friend and is usually always willing to let the other person have a turn or share a toy. He loves playing with Addie's friends and with some of the older boys on the street as well. He enjoys going to the library, the aquarium, the children's museum, the zoo, the park, and even to Addie's school!
He loves to play any kind of ball- soccer, baseball, basketball. He's got a pretty decent arm with good aim when it comes to throwing and he's a pretty good shot on his Little Tikes basketball hoop! He loves being outside- riding on his wiggle car, playing with friends, jumping on the tramp, drawing on the sidewalk, digging in the dirt, blowing bubbles, throwing the ball around.
Some of the other things he loves right now are: playing with his train table and his gazillion Thomas trains, Buzz Lightyear or "Buzz Aitwar" and Toy Story, playing the Wii, coloring, playing with playdoh, dancing and singing with Addie, and he LOVES to play on the iPad or on our iPhones. He's quite proficient at navigating them and finding what he wants and then playing it too!

I know I told you in person that I loved this post, but it's fun to have comments recorded on the blog too, so I thought I'd do that as well. SUCH a great capture of him at this age, a post to treasure. LOVE that picture with the static hair!
