Easter Fun

We had a couple of Easter egg hunts this year. Unfortunately, Saturday was so cold that it wasn't much fun. Addie enjoyed finding eggs and especially the candy inside! Will was thrilled with the plastic egg he got! It went straight into his mouth!

Saturday night, I put Addie to bed and told her she needed to go to sleep quickly if she wanted the Easter Bunny to come and bring her an easter basket. She thought about it for a second, then said, "but I'm scared of the Easter Bunny!" So, we had to compromise, the Easter Bunny was bringing the basket to the door and then we'd bring it inside. She seemed okay with that.

Sunday morning the kids were up bright and early (really early for our house). Addie came into our room and said, "I took a long nap so that I can get my easter basket!"

Her basket was a new sand bucket and shovel since her other one broke. She got a few eggs with candy, a couple of books, some princess socks, bubbles and a jump rope. The jump rope was, by far, the favorite.

Will got a couple of books, some baby food and puffs, socks, and a couple of little cars. He loves the books and the cars.
