A few weeks ago, Addie went on a road trip to Moab with Clay. This was her first time on a trip away from home without mom. They went down with a bunch of family and friends for the Moab Half Marathon so there were plenty of people to keep her occupied. Will and I decided to stay at home.
Addie was really excited to leave. When Clay came home from work the day they were leaving, she already had her bag packed and was ready to go. She was waiting outside for him to get the car all packed up!
She did really well. She got a little homesick at night or anytime things slowed down but she and Dad had a great time together. In fact, when he was going on a business trip a week and a half later, she asked if she was going with him and when I said no, she said, "but I'll be sad for him to go by himself!"
Will and I had a nice quiet weekend at home but I think he was ready for them to be back. He seemed a little bored just having me around!
