We started November off with a bang! Addie turned 5 and she finally got to have the birthday party she's been planning for almost a year! Started the morning off with some breakfast and a present from Will then she had to get ready to head to school.
She got to wear a crown that said Birthday Princess and she took little bags of mini oreos for her birthday treat. Daddy surprised her and stayed home so he got to take her and pick her up from school!
She had her birthday party on her actual birthday and she could hardly wait for it to start! The theme she picked was My Little Pony so we had a treasure hunt, pin the rainbow on the pony and a pinata planned, then cupcakes and presents.
Since we moved part way through the year, we had a big crowd of kids we invited! Addie wanted all her friends there! I think we ended up with about 18 kids and mostly girls! Thank goodness we had Grandma and Gaga there to help with the party and picture taking.
We split the kids into two groups for the games and they had a lot more fun doing the treasure hunt than we thought they would. Luckily, we ended up with a really nice weather day so we could utilize our wonderfully finished yard!
After the games, we did the pinata....the kids each got to whack it at least once before it broke open and they all dove for the candy and treats!
Once we were done with the pinata, we came inside and sang Happy Birthday and ate cupcakes!
Then came the most exciting time of all....present time! Addie has such wonderful friends and they were all so nice to bring her such nice presents! She loved them all and got TONS of great stuff!
After presents, we still had a little time left before parents were coming to pick up so we played some games outside in the backyard and had a fun time!
That night, we celebrated with ice cream at Iceberg!!!
Happy Birthday Pookie! We love you birthday girl!!!!!
