First Race!

Clay signed Addie up for a Kids Fun Run in conjunction with the Salt Lake Marathon. She loves to watch her dad at the races he runs and she was so excited to be the one doing it this time. She even did a few "training" runs around the neighborhood!

We went down a couple nights before to pick up her bib, shirt and all her free stuff. She was so excited to get her own "race" shirt!

The morning of the race, we headed down to Gateway. Clay and Addie headed to the starting line and Grandpa and Grandma were there to meet them!




They did some warm-ups and then they were off!


Will and I found a spot close to the finish and Gaga, Grandpa Rex, Chris and Emily joined us to cheer her on! We yelled and cheered for her and she was having a great time! It was a short run but she ran the whole time!


She was thrilled to get her own medal and treats at the end!



Thanks to all the family who came to support her in this! She was so happy to see you all there!
