Dirty Dash

Clay participated in the Dirty Dash up in Heber this year. He thought a few of his friends were going to sign up but they ended up not doing it so he was on his own. It was a beautiful venue!


It was a short race (5K) and it didn't start till 9am so the kids and I just rode up with him and hung out while he ran it. We had a pretty cold spring this year so it was pretty chilly when we got up there and even colder for the runners as they were going through the obstacles! The kids kept themselves busy by collecting rocks.


We finally spotted Clay as he was getting ready to run up the mountain to the slip n slide. By the time he got down to the last mud pit, he was already pretty dirty! The kids enjoyed watching him dive into the last mud pit and get nice and muddy just as he finished!





They didn't want to get too close while he was muddy! He rinsed off in a FREEZING shower before we headed home!
