California Trip- Day 6

We got to spend Day 6 at DISNEYLAND!!!! It was a busy morning, got the kids up, bathed and ready to head out the door by 9am. We headed to the airport in Anaheim to pick up Clay! He was finally joining us!! We were all SO excited!!!

(yes, I was sleeping in the middle of them...)

We then headed straight to Disneyland!! Will saw and heard the train before we were even in the gate so of course, that was our first ride! We took the train to New Orleans Square and got in line for Pirates of the Caribbean!

Addie was desperate to see Rapunzel so we headed to Fantasyland and waited in line to see her. Will and Clay went on the carousel and Pinocchio while we were waiting and came back just in time to meet Rapunzel (Will didn't want anything to do with the characters)!

We did a few more rides (he LOVED Casey Jr. the circus train- went on it at least 4 times!), had lunch, then headed over to California Adventure to go on the new Ariel ride and see some Toy Story characters.

On the way over, we ran into a few others....

Will fell asleep on our walk so Clay and Addie went on Ariel while I pushed Will around trying to get him a nap. He slept for a little while but it was pretty noisy in there. After they came out, we hurried to get our picture with Mickey Mouse.

We also got to see Woody but barely missed Jesse and Buzz. :( We waited in line for Toy Story Mania which was an incredibly LONG line...but it is a fun ride and the kids loved it.

We did a few other rides, got some dinner and then headed back over to Disneyland.

The kids each got to build their own light saber and Will didn't stop shooting people the rest of the night! We watched a bit of the fireworks with Carson and Rachelle and then took advantage of the short lines while everyone was watching the show and went on the Buzz ride and Pirates of the Caribbean without having to wait very long.

It was a really LONG but FUN day. We spent a lot of time throughout the day in the gift shops and looking at the kiosks. Addie probably could have spent the entire day in the stores! Her money was burning a hole in her pocket but we managed to convince her to wait for tomorrow in case she saw something else she wanted.

We didn't get out of the park and on our way home till after 11pm. The kids fell asleep on the way home and stayed asleep once we got to the hotel and took them inside! They were exhausted... and so were we!
