November

Started off November with an FHE on being grateful.  We made Thankful Turkeys and took them to some people in the neighborhood.  Will wanted to take some to the "mishop" (bishop).

We decided to make the train table a lego table.  Mainly because I was tired of having our ever growing lego collection occupying my coffee table.   We also decided it would be good to keep the little pieces out of Sams reach as long as possible.  We took all the trains/tracks off and put them away and then moved the lego collection to that table.  It was kind of sad to see the trains gone....this table has probably been one of the most used items in our house!

We made apple turkeys for playgroup.  They loved it and they made for a cute decoration until the feet and other things kept disappearing....

Addie is participating in the Children's Choir at school.  They sang a few songs at the Veterans Day assembly.

We got a good snowfall one day.  Will went out and played in it for a bit.  He wanted to sled on his new sled but there wasn't enough snow for that.  Loved his rosy cheeks when he came inside!

One Sunday, Addie decided to be a helper and did her own hair and helped Will get dressed for church.  She made sure he tucked in his shirt because she thought he looked better that way.

Clay taught the kids how to play war....they loved it especially when they beat him!

Clay bought a charcoal meat smoker.  He was planning to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving so we had to do some trial runs first!  It's delicious!!!

Addie discovered one of her bottom teeth was loose! We also discovered that her permanent tooth was already coming up behind it! So, she started wiggling!!!
