Christmas Eve

We usually spend Christmas Eve with my side of the family.  This year it was fun to have everyone here!

We started the evening off with some quick family pictures out in the snow!

We ate a yummy dinner at Gumpy and Gummy's with the extended Cullimore's! Been doing that as long as I can remember!

After dinner, we headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's house to open presents!  We are quickly outgrowing the space! There were so many presents, people and wrapping paper you could barely see the kids!

After presents, we took a quick drink break and Clay mixed up some Italian Sodas and Dirty Diet Cokes for everyone!

We headed back downstairs so we could open our gift from our parents. They were amazing and presented each family with a bin full of Book of Mormon books, games, activities, etc. So many great things for everyone.

My amazing Mom also made each family a Book of Mormon quilt.  Talk about a labor of  love!  She'd been working on them for so long (and without any of us knowing!)  They are amazing.  Thank you so much for all the time you put into making them.  It will be a family treasure!

After we got stuff cleaned up and presents loaded into the cars, the kids got into their matching PJ's from Grandma & Grandpa!  So cute!

We headed home, put out some cookies and milk for Santa and got the kids to bed so that Santa could come!

Merry Christmas Eve!

I want to share a little story I want to remember.  Since it's about the magic of Christmas, I'm going to type it in white ink so you will have to highlight to read it.

A few days before Christmas, we had got everything out to make sure we had everything we needed and to start wrapping some of it.  The magic of Christmas was almost ruined forever though!  As we were wrapping presents (some from the big man) and Addie came out of her room and we didn't see hear her till she was in the room (we hung a bell on her door but obviously that didn't work)!!! Just hoping she didn't see anything that would ruin it for her! Luckily, she was so out of it and we realized it so quickly, she got more scared than anything.  All we can remember is yelling a bunch of jumbled words trying to tell her to turn around and go back upstairs.  Everything was in slow motion!!! So glad that it worked out and we were able to enjoy the magic of Christmas another year!

What a great idea, the white ink! :) I hadn't seen some of these pics like the one with the kids all together in their jammies...so darn cute. You'll have to send that one to me.
