Addie's 4th Birthday- Cullimore Party

Addie has been waiting for her birthday to arrive since summertime when a lot of her friends were having birthdays. She's been so excited for it to come! She had a whole laundry list of things she wanted so it was quite easy to find something she'd like.

Grandma was with her at the store and Addie was showing her all the things she wanted. Grandma said, well, you'll probably have to pick just one thing and Addie said, "Oh, it's okay Grandma, I'm just gonna have four birthdays!"

Since our families are so big now, it's just a little overwhelming having everyone over at once, so for Addie's birthday, we decided to have separate family parties.

We celebrated with the Cullimore side of the family, the Sunday before, at Grandma's house. It was a long day for Addie- having church so late and waiting all day to go over there! We had a huge crowd for dinner- even Aunt Cardi came up from school just for her party!

When we arrived, Grandma had a Cinderella birthday cake for her! She was so excited. Grandma even made Addie some pink "colored" (Swedish) pancakes for dinner!

It took everyone awhile to eat and Addie was getting anxious. She came in and asked Grandma if she could open her presents yet and burst into tears when Grandma told her "when everyone was done". It was just too much!

Finally, it was time to open presents and Addie was so excited. She was so animated and hilarious to watch. Here is a video of her opening 3 of her presents. She was like that with each one- even when it was new clothes!

She got very spoiled by everyone! She was thrilled to get so many of the things she was wanting! After opening presents, she got to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. It took her a few tries to get them out!

It was a very exciting night for her! Thanks everyone for making her feel so special!
