SOLD!

I haven't wanted to post about the house situation- just in case I jinxed it or something. I figured I better post something now though, because I doubt I'll be doing much posting during the next few weeks.

We SOLD our town home! We went under contract about 5 weeks after we put it on the market. We were thrilled to have an offer and one that was something we could accept! Things proceeded and the inspection went well but then it took them awhile to get the appraisal done. We were very concerned that the sale was going to fall through but they did finally get it done and we closed on it on Friday! We are so happy that it's finally official and closed. It's been pretty stressful at a few points in the process.

We will be closing on our new home tomorrow afternoon and will begin the moving process starting on Tuesday. We have to be out of our town home by Thursday night so we will be busy for the next few days!

Of course, we've started the packing process but we've still got a lot to do before Tuesday. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate over seven years! Anyway, we're thrilled that things have gone well and that we were able to sell so quickly. We know we were lucky and very blessed. It was an answer to many prayers. We are looking forward to getting into our new house but it's bittersweet to leave our friends and neighbors that we love so dearly.
