Another Year Older...

Clay had a birthday in January! His birthday was on a Saturday so we got to celebrate all day! The kids were so excited!

He started off with a chilly run at 6:30am! We met up with our friends, The Jones', for french toast at Kneaders and fun in the arcade at Boondocks. Clay and Zach (their oldest) share the same birthday so it was a double celebration! So fun to spend time with our friends too!

They cleaned out some toys and brought Will a bunch of Thomas stuff. He was loving the Thomas carrying case so much he just had to bring it inside Boondocks (and of course, push it around on the lovely floor)!

The kids (and Dads) all had a great time playing games, winning tickets and picking out prizes!

Clay had a birthday nap while Will was napping and I took Addie to get balloons, an oreo cake and a present! You can't have a birthday without balloons and party blowers!!! When we got back, Gaga and Grandpa Rex happened to stop by and hanging out with us the rest of the night!

Clay opened his presents...OREOS from Addie, a long-sleeved BYU shirt from Will and some books from Gaga and Grandpa Rex. After presents, we had OREO cupcakes and then went to dinner at Firehouse Subs! What a fun and busy day!

The following day, we had a birthday dinner/gathering with the Cullimore side of the family- but it was a fast one because we had to get back for a church meeting so no pictures from there. The following Sunday, we went up to Grandpa Rex and Gaga's house to celebrate the Blackham/Bailey January birthdays!

We had a yummy dinner followed by a delicious lemon chiffon cake that Gaga made and some chocolate cupcakes with PB cream cheese frosting that I made! The candles have to be exactly right and all of them have to be lit- which can be a lengthy process when you are 30+ (and your nephew keeps blowing on them while you are lighting them)! It also almost sets off the smoke detector once they are blown out!

Happy Birthday Clay!!! We LOVE you!!!
