Christmas Day

After we finished up our gift opening here at home and let the kids play for a bit, we headed up to Grandpa Rex and Gaga's for the afternoon. When we got there, the kids got to open up their presents from Gaga and Grandpa Rex and they did not disappoint!

Will got a book and a box full of trains! He was so excited. One can never have too many trains!



Addie got some books and the Easy Bake Oven that she'd been asking for for weeks. She was so excited- but I think she was just as excited about the timer, rolling pin and accessories that she got with it!



We had a nice afternoon, relaxing, the kids had fun playing with their cousins and eating yummy food!




We finally came home, got the kids some dinner and made some sense of the tornado that had ripped through the room, the put the kids to bed and Clay and I enjoyed our favorite tradition: A yummy, nice, meal with no interruptions. This year we had shrimp, aged dried steak and filet mignon with asparagus. It was so good and a perfect way to end a great day!

Such a wonderful Christmas for our family! Thanks to our families who helped make it so great! We love being with you and really appreciate your love and support for us and our kids!
