Baby Update

It's been awhile since I posted anything about the baby/pregnancy so I thought I'd give everyone an update on where we're at.

I'm currently 35 weeks. I've been feeling pretty good- just the typical late pregnancy symptoms I dealt with last time, heartburn & swelling feet/ankles! This pregnancy has gone by pretty fast for me. It seems like we were just telling people and finding out what we were having!

So far, he is healthy, VERY BUSY, loves to kick and stretch- especially into my rib cage or my bladder. He is still measuring about one week ahead but anything within the 1-2 week range is pretty normal. He is in the head down position but still pretty high so no progress there yet. We are still working on the name, but thanks to Clay, he is most often referred to as Frodo. Poor kid.

My due date is October 21st. Depending on how things go the next few weeks, we may induce a few days early but I'm not really sure I want to have two kids any sooner than necessary so that is still up in the air. While being pregnant isn't always the greatest, it's much easier to take care of him in my tummy!

We still have quite a bit to do before he gets here, so we'll probably need all the time we can get. We've got some furniture rearranging to do so he has a place to sleep, organizing, a few more things to buy and we are getting ready to move Addie out of the crib into a twin bed. We think we are in for a pretty rough transition there so wish us luck!

Less than 33 days to go! It's hard to believe he's going to be joining our family so soon!

I can't believe how fast it goes for everyone else when you aren't the one preggers, so I'm glad it's gone by fast for you. Let me know if you get induced so i can set up meals for you;)

Just think, when I was that far along Chloe popped out a month early! Hopefully, he'll decide to stay in a little longer. Good luck! The first 2 months are hardest and then it suddenly feels normal to have 2 children.
