Major Transformation!

This weekend we finally moved Addie out of her crib and into a big girl bed! While she's done really well in the crib, we decided we wanted to get this out of the way while we didn't have a newborn to worry about as well.

Last night in her crib!

I was a little skeptical about how it would go and kept my expectations really low. I really expected it to be a battle to get her to stay in her bed and I was really worried about losing her nap!

I'm happy to report that Addie has done extremely well with this transition and she loves her pink (sheets) big girl bed! I know it's only been a few days, but so far, we have had no problems at bedtime, she has been sleeping like normal and she's still taking her naps!

First night in her big girl bed!

So proud!

She's getting to be such a big girl. It's a little sad to see this "baby" chapter of her life closing! She looks so small in that big bed! We are so proud of her! We love you Addie!

Her new, big girl room!

Her most important stuffed animals!

Next up and last few things to do.....no more pull-ups at bedtime (only have a few left) and get rid of the binky!! Yikes!

She is so cute in her big girl bed... they do look so little in them though, especially when they are sleeping. :)

her room is adorable & isn't it so cute to see our little ones in their big beds? I just love watching Britton sleeping in his. I'm with you on getting rid of the binky, suddenly he has a major attatchment to it so we might just wait awhile to get rid of it.

Only a few more weeks to go before our baby boys make their grand entrances - can't wait for your big news & I'll be sure to let you guys know when ours gets here too! Good luck!

She really does look so big! I hope we get to see her (and the new little man) sometime while we're out in Utah for the holidays =)

Good luck with getting rid of the Binky. We just had to let Brylie "loose" hers. And her room is so cute especially with the big girl bed.

way to go on the big girl bed! such fun such fun! poor kynda is out of hers! it totally sucks for naptime and her getting up ever! but, you know, that is how it goes.

also, BINKY!? uhhh! the binky fairy came one night and gathered up all kynda's binky's and brought a special toy! well, at least we thought she got all the binky's! who knew we had sooo many freaking binkies laying around in random places... SO, kynda is BACK TO binkies, and said the binky fairy DIDN"T really come or else she would have found all the binky's!

GOOD CRAP!
oh well!
good luck with that. LET Me know if you come up with anything else.???

OH! also kirk likes to make fun of kynda, he says, "hey do you want those BIG girls (KAYLA"S FRIENDS) to see you with a binky!? she says NO! so she hides it!
That is how it was with putty training. he is SUCH a tease... 'do you want the big kids to see you pee your pants!?" so the potty party worked and the guilt worked. OOH the lovely parenting of my husband... right!

love you! (SORRY SO LONG)

Yay, I am glad she is being so good for you! Hopefully she doesn't discover she can turn on the light and secretly play in her room until 10:30 when her parents finally notice, Elise's latest trick!
