We drove down Friday night and then Saturday we went to the reunion. It was a typical family reunion- at a park with a potluck meal and all the individual families still clustered together. We stayed for a few hours, took pictures, then it was getting hot and it was naptime so we decided to leave.
We headed back to the hotel and went swimming at the pool. It was nice and a great way to spend the hottest part of the day. Addie pretty much wouldn't let go of me while we were swimming and anytime I tried to let her go with her floaties on, she'd get mad and cry.
After we'd been swimming for a few hours, everyone but me, Gaga and Addie had gone inside to get cleaned up. Colton left his lifejacket out with us so we decided to try it on Addie. Within about 10 min., she was doggie paddling/floating between me and Gaga. As she gained more confidence, we got further and further apart and she was doing awesome swimming back and forth between us without any help. She was so excited. She swam back and forth and around the pool with us for about an hour! Too bad that was probably our last swim of the season and we'll have to start from scratch next year.
That night, we went out to dinner and she was so tired, she actually fell asleep in my arms while we were waiting for our table to be ready. Those of you that know Addie know that this RARELY happens!

Sunday we went to visit Clay's Grandma, then stopped by her house to pick up a few treasures before she sells her house, then headed home!
Clay found these beautiful shoes:
Addie found a magnifying glass that she wanted:
It was a fun little trip and so nice to be back home in time to relax on Labor Day.

Oooo, looks like fun. I have fond memories of Moab trips. It's been too long. You make me want to go right now. Looks like fun, but you sure are a trooper for hanging 8 months prego!
