A Day at the Beach!

All summer long I'd been hearing about how great this new little beach is out in Daybreak on Oquirrh Lake. Addie loves to dig in the sand so I'd been wanting to go check it out but just kept forgetting.

We finally made it at the beginning of September with our friends, The Wrights (better known as Bennett). We picked a great day to go- it was a tad windy but the sun was out and there was hardly anyone down at the beach when we arrived.

Addie went straight to digging while the rest of us ate our lunch. Eating is almost always 2nd priority to her. It was a great setup- we were able to sit up on the grass and still be close enough to them without getting all sandy.

The older kids had a great time digging in the sand and playing in the water and Will enjoyed crawling around, eating, and emptying the diaper bag. It was a great way to spend the afternoon! Glad we went when we did!
