Well, I finally hit the big 30. I'd probably say for the last 8-10 years, birthdays have been considerably less exciting and I am just fine with that. I am not one for big celebrations or parties. For me, my 30th birthday was just another birthday, just another day. Nothing changed from one day to the next. I still feel the same as I did when I was 29. Happy. Content. Glad to be me. It was a nice, quiet, Thursday. Clay had to work. I went to lunch with my parents and the kids. Came home and did the usual stuff, then went to dinner with Clay and the kids. It was a great day. I'm really enjoying my Mother's Day/Birthday present (my camera)....although, I've still got a lot to learn.
