First part of June

Clay went out of town for work at the beginning of June and of course, right before he left, both kids came down with a mild case of croup (or so we think). So, we pretty much had to stay in the whole time he was gone although, we did make a couple trips for a Jamba Juice and to Dunford in honor of National Donut Day.






One night, we had a beautiful sunset and summer thunder/rain storm.


Once the kids were feeling better, we were able to play with friends and Addie started up with her first session of swim lessons (another post coming on these).



We got a little further on the patio- got the gravel delivered and spread out. Will had fun trying to help Clay and playing with the rocks. He also LOVED seeing the "shruck" come deliver the rocks!



Will managed to sucker us into buying him a huge, talking Buzz Lightyear. He LOVES Toy Story and Buzz especially. Since Toy Story 3 was coming out- the stores are full of the toys from the movie and Will just goes crazy when he sees them (see the videos below). He loves his Buzz though- probably played with it for a good 45 min. straight!

Will got a haircut in preparation for Chris and Emily's wedding...he looks like such a little boy now! So handsome! He did not enjoy the haircut though- and I had to hold his head still while they used the clippers around his ears and neck- the noise totally freaked him out.

The last half of June had some exciting events and things going on so will do separate posts on those! Summer is going by so fast!
