Our kids LOVE to fish. They each have their own kid sized fishing pole
and they could spend hours casting their line and reeling it back in
both in and out of the pond!
One Tuesday, Clay was taking the scouts fishing at a nearby fishing pond
and he let Addie tag along. Poor Will was stuck at home with me but he
was happy casting his line out on the driveway. :)
Addie was lucky enough to catch a fish that night and they even decided
to bring it home and clean it out and cook it. The kids were completely
fascinated with the gutting/cleaning process but neither would try it
once it was cooked!
The weather stayed nice so Clay and our neighbor took the kids out
fishing again later that week. They were there for 3-4 hours and Will
even caught a fish!
I'm sure there will be more fishing trips throughout the summer!!! It's a quick and easy activity to get them out of the house and they enjoy it!
