Girl's Trip Continued

We spent Friday and Saturday night at the Pratt's house.  Addie and Lily were so excited. Friday night we went to their ward Trunk or Treat.  The girls had fun and got a bunch of candy.

Saturday morning we got up early and headed in to San Francisco.  We stopped by the Golden Gate Bridge State Park and walked out onto the bridge a little ways.  Addie wasn't a big fan.

San Francisco is such a beautiful city!  After the bridge, we headed into the city and parked.  We got some lunch then walked to Chinatown and did some browsing (Addie wanted to do lots of buying....it's her heaven and my nightmare...trinkets galore)!  After Chinatown we walked down to Pier 39 and met up with Clayton and Brandi.

The girls were all so excited to see Lexi!  We walked around on the Pier and took it all in!  It's such a fun place.  We got some of Trish's mini donuts (delicious) and walked down to see the Sea Lions.  The kids watched them for awhile...they were very entertaining and fun to watch!

We visited the Boudin sourdough bread factory and then headed over to Fisherman's Wharf.  The kids played some games in an old time arcade and then we got some seafood and chowder for dinner before saying goodbye to Clayton, Brandi and Lexi and beginning our walk back to the car.

We covered a lot of ground that day!  The kids were so tired...the walk back was a little long for them but we made it!  This is an idea of the route of the city we walked...no backtracking though. :)

Sunday morning we got up and took it easy (Addie had thrown up during the night- I'm still mortified at that one- but we think she just overdid it that day).  We went to church and then took the Pratt's to have lunch and meet our friends, The Jones' (who had moved to San Jose around the same time). Sarah made us dinner and we had a nice little visit.  It was too short....but it was so fun to see them and the kids had a great time.

We said our goodbyes and headed off to the airport.  It was sad to say goodbye and come home but we were looking forward to seeing our boys again!!!  Thank you to our wonderful family and friends for hosting us and carting us around while we were there.  We had a great time and we will cherish our  memories we made!!!  Hopefully the whole family can go next time!

Addie was so happy to be home!

It was good to see our boys again!  They did great while we were away.  Clay loved the bonding time with his boys and was actually a little sad to be going back to work once we were home!  He even took them to their well checks and Sam for shots!  What a super dad!!!  Thanks for making it possible babe!  We love you!
