Will turned 4 years old in October. We absolutely adore this boy. He has grown up so much in the last year but especially since Sam was born. I remember coming home from the hospital and wondering where my baby went!!! He was SO big now that we had a baby in the house again!

He is a homebody and likes his routine.....he's not a big fan of change. :) He loves his blank (blanket) and likes to start every day with his blank and a sippy of chocolate milk on the couch or on our bed watching a show (usually Curious George).
He stopped napping around 3.5 years old...We had to give that up when he started making huge messes in his room at naptime and then take forever to fall asleep at night.
For awhile he'd fall asleep on the couch or floor if he was tired enough and even now that it's been months since he really napped, he will fall asleep on the couch or in the car (and sometimes other places!) if he's really tired. We have to try and keep him awake in the car now because if he does fall asleep, even for 5 minutes, it usually means he has trouble falling asleep till really late.
He learned to dress himself and for quite awhile, all or most of his clothing was on backwards and he did not like me to change it. He was even putting his underwear on backwards but we realized that was because he wanted to see the picture (that is on the backside!) He still puts his shirts on backwards on occasion and it just makes me smile.
I have to include this video. Before he realized he could get out of bed and come out of his room on his own, this is how he would "call" for me. Yes, it's a whistle- but my favorite is how he doesn't actually whistle- just makes the sound but he was always sure to put his fingers in there.
He is so full of personality and he gets so excited about everything. He definitely has a little OCD in him - especially when it comes to whatever his latest "obsession" is. It's really been a crazy year with his obsessions...last year around this time he was still somewhat into his trains and very into anything Cars. Around May (it's a very abrupt thing- not a slow transition), he started getting into superheroes and began his obsession with the "Subengers" but mostly Captain America. He got his Captain America shield when Sam was born and he took that thing EVERYWHERE. He'd want us (or his friends) to go out and "fight" the bad guys.

He is a good brother. He loves it when Addie includes him and he gets to do "big kid" stuff. They love to be silly together- sometimes too silly for Mom and Dads liking! He loves getting on the floor and playing with Sam too. I love when he talks to Sam in his really high pitched voice.
Just for the record, he was 31 lbs (the 16th%) and finally jumped to the double digits in %! First time since he was born! The pediatrician was impressed! He shot up quite a bit in height this year as well. He was 41" putting him in the 76th% for height! Just like his siblings - he is long and lean!
We just love this kid! Sometimes I wish they didn't have to grow up and that they could stay little forever. We are so glad he is a part of our family. Love you Wilbur!

Love this update about Will. He sure is a cue kid, and I love him and Collin being friends. I LOVE the clothes on backwards. He came over last week, and his shirt was on backwards. Glad he still does that. Also, love seeing your green grass. I miss warm weather!
Very cute recap and capture of him at this age. Loved the pictures of him asleep everywhere! *Ü*
