Day 4- DISNEYLAND!
The kids were up earlier than we would have liked this morning but it ended up working out just fine. We walked across the street to IHOP for breakfast. It was a total ripoff- cost us over $40 for two entrees, OJ and some fruit. Ridiculous. Headed back to the hotel, Will took a nap and the rest of us got ready for the day. As soon as he woke up, we walked over to the park! Our hotel was about a Disney block away- so it wasn't too far of a walk. Will was excited as soon as he saw a Disneyland sign with Mickey Mouse shapes on it. He totally caught the magic of it all. He got even more excited once we got in and were waiting in line to go in the park. Up on top, they had big fake pumpkins in the shape of the characters and he loved it.
We skipped all the photo ops since we didn't have any of our family with us to take the pictures and headed straight for the castle and Fantasyland. This is where we spent about half of our time at Disneyland. First ride was the carousel- Addie and Clay went because Will is terrified of the ones here at home so we didn't even attempt taking him. While they were on the carousel, Grandma Cullimore arrived to join us for a few days! Yay!
We headed over to Dumbo and got in line. We decided to take Will even though we were sure he'd be scared to death and trying to "koala bear" us. He got really excited watching it in the line and to our surprise, except for an initial jump when the ride started, he did great! This ended up being his favorite ride and anytime we were near, he'd get excited and start jabbering away.

After a few more rides in Fantasyland, we headed over to Toontown. We got lucky and happened to catch a VERY short line to meet Mickey in his house. After we met Mickey, we walked around for a little bit, had a little snack and then were able to be 3rd or 4th in line to meet Minnie at her house. Addie seemed to enjoy having them sign her book but was a little shy going up to them the first day. Will was thrilled to see them!
Clay walked Will around so he could nap and Addie and I went with Grandma to meet and get her picture with some of the princess'. While I stood in line, Addie talked Grandma into getting her face painted as a Unicorn Princess. It was very pretty and she loved it. Then she got to meet, Cinderella (her favorite princess), Jasmine and Belle. They were all very cute with her.

We decided to head over and get in line for Pirates of the Caribbean. The line moved quickly and the kids were so cute and happy in the line. Addie did not enjoy the ride at all- Clay said she was shaking after the little hills in the dark. Will didn't mind it. We grabbed some dinner then Grandma took Addie on a few rides in Fantasyland.

We then met up with Gaga, Grandpa Rex, Livi and Landon and did the teacups and Dumbo again!

After that, I walked back to the hotel with Grandma and Will and he fell asleep on the way!
Clay and Addie stayed and did a few rides in Tomorrowland and then once Will was in bed, I walked back to meet up with them for the last 30 min. Addie all of a sudden came alive walking down main street and going through the stores. She is a total shopper! This was the Addie we'd been hoping to see all day!!We were exhausted from walking all day so we all fell asleep pretty fast! Yay for Disneyland!
