Will is ONE!!!!
I can't believe my baby is one. It is so hard to believe that it's been an entire year since he joined our family yet I can't even really imagine us without him! The last year has been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs and hasn't always been fun but we are so glad he is part of our family.
The common phrase we get from a lot of people is, "He is so cute!" and we have to agree. There is just something about his face that you just can't help but look at and think he is so cute! Probably those big, dark brown eyes!
Will has just about the sweetest personality you can get, although, he can throw a tantrum with the best of them when things aren't going his way. He is so happy and good natured and seems to just love life. He is such a mama's boy but gets so excited when Clay comes home from work or when he sees Addie in the morning. He is getting better at being himself around more people since we got back from our trip to Disneyland. I think being around so much family for so much time really helped him. Of course, he still gives the best stink eye face around when he's not happy with a situation or person.
He is definitely a Cullimore- he already loves to tease and bug his big sister. His favorite thing to do in the car is hold stuff out for her then when she tries to grab it, he pulls it back! He also enjoys taking her bebe (lovey) from her, pulling at her hair, climbing on her and teasing. I have a hard time getting mad when I see him do it because he obviously knows what he's doing and he knows I know what he's doing....and he's just too cute with his little not-so-innocent face looking at me while he does it! That's what little brothers are for, right?

His walking skills have improved greatly and he is enjoying his new found freedom and independence. He is pretty much done with crawling- walking is now his chosen mode of transportation. He is still pretty wobbly and falls down a lot- but he just gets right back up and keeps going!
He loves running around and chasing and being silly with Addie. Here is a video of him and Addie playing- she was pretending to sneeze then fall down. He thought it was hilarious and started copying her and laughing.
His vocabulary is small- but he points and jabbers when he wants something- or he just brings it to me if he can get at it. He does have a few words- he can say Dora, Da-da, bye bye, A-da (addie), woo woo (dog), Dumbo and Donald (although, he usually says this for all the Disney characters). Here's a video of him saying Dora!
He's still a little runt. He weighed in at 18 lbs. 2 oz. (2nd %), and 30" long (52%). Such a little guy! Eating was going really well up until about a week and a half ago. He went on a little food strike - we think because of his teeth. He is starting to eat more foods again now that his front tooth has come through so we hope that's over! He's still on Zantac for his reflux but hopefully we can begin weaning him from that soon.
Tooth #3 just broke through the skin today- so he's got the bottom two and then he's getting one of his top front teeth and the other is not far behind. He is still taking two naps a day and they are both pretty decent most of the time (1-2 hrs each) and still goes to bed fairly early (usually between 6:30-7) most nights. He is still usually waking one time a night and I am still feeding him but I think we're going to have to stop that soon! He is becoming more and more attached to his bebe's (loveys) and his bink and it's so cute to see him pick it up and hold it up to his face or lay down and put his head on it. There's something so sweet about that (even if it is because they are tired)!
He is already turning into such a little boy- it's really sad to see them grow up and I think you feel it even more with the second child because you know how fast it really goes now!!! We are just trying to enjoy every minute we have with Will and Addie.
We love you Will!!! Looking forward to all the fun this next year will bring!
