Day 6- Disneyland & THE BEACH!

Day 6 we decided to go to Disneyland and try to hit all the rides we wanted to do but hadn't yet done. The day started off just like the other days. I think both kids had better sleep being in separate rooms. Both slept a little later! Clay went out and got us Jamba Juice for breakfast then he and Addie headed to the park while Grandma and I waited for Will to wake up.

Being there right when it opened, they saw Halloween Mickey, and were able to get on Autotopia and the Astro Orbiter ride before we even got there!

Once Will, Grandma and I got there, we got our picture in front of the big Mickey pumpkin then headed to Adventureland to go on the Jungle Cruise. While we were on the jungle cruise, Addie kept saying, "they're real mom!" about all the animals! Then we went over to Frontierland to meet Tigger and Pooh.

We had heard that Donald would be in the main entrance area around noon. Addie had wanted to see Donald and get him to sign her book so we ran from Frontierland to the entrance and were able to see him. Both kids were excited about it!

Clay then took Addie to Pixie Hollow to meet Tinkerbell and Grandma and I took Will back to Fantasyland to go on the carousel and Dumbo again! Addie and Clay went on the "rockets" again and then we headed over to Adventureland to go to the Tiki Room and have a Dole Whip!

Grandma took Will back to the hotel for a nap and Clay and I stayed with Addie. We were all feeling a little tired so we headed over to the petting zoo, ranch area so Addie could go color and we could sit for a little bit! She got to meet Woody and see him then we weregoing to go do some rides but we were all pretty tired. We ended up heading back to the hotel because we all needed a break!

Once we got back to the hotel, Will was awake so we got packed into the car and decided to head to Newport Beach. It was only about a 20 min. drive and it was so nice to go and get some fresh air. We found lots of shells and Addie had a great time digging in the sand.

After awhile, the kids got hungry so we found a little pizza place to get some dinner. While we waited for the pizza, Will got to enjoy his first sucker! He would not let go of the thing and we both got very sticky!

Once we got back to the hotel, Will showed off his walking skills. He looks a little like Frankenstien when he walks! Here is a little video:

Then it was time to say goodbye to Grandma because she was leaving in the morning. We wished she could have stayed the whole time but it was fun having her with us!
