Day 5- CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!
On Day 5, we were up early again so Addie and Clay went swimming with some of her cousins in the morning while Will took his nap. As soon as we were all ready and Will was awake, we headed over to the park but decided to walk over to McDonald's for some breakfast first. After we all ate some breakfast and Addie had some fries, we headed over. We decided to start off at California Adventure today. It was pretty empty- especially first thing in the morning! We got some Fast Passes for Soarin' Over California then headed to the "It's a Bugs Life" land. There was hardly anyone there and pretty much no lines for any of the rides so it was great. We did bug bumper cars, spinning ladybugs (think super fast teacups), and flying hot air balloons. It was a lot of fun. Will enjoyed splashing in the water fountain at their splash pad.

Grandma took Will to see Lightening McQueen while we took Addie on Soarin' Over California with Gaga, Grandpa Rex and some of her cousins. We weren't sure what she'd think of it and she was definitely a little scared at first. I think once she got her bearings and realized it wasn't really real she did ok.
After that, Will was getting hungry so I stopped to feed him, Clay went to Tower of Terror and Addie went with Grandma and Jen, Cooper and Colton to the Challenge Trail. Once Will was done eating, I headed over there and let him get down and walk around a little bit (MISTAKE!- He just wanted to get down and walk every time we let him out of the stroller after that!)

Will was pretty tired at that point so Clay took him back to the hotel for a nap while Grandma and I stayed with Addie. We went to see the Playhouse Disney Live show. It was cute and the kids enjoyed it. After the show, we were able to catch Snow White and get a picture with her then had lunch.

We went in some of the stores to look around, saw Pluto and then met up with Clay and the rest of the group to watch the Pixar Parade. While we were waiting for it to start, we ate yummy churros and got their picture with Chip and Dale. It was a great parade and the kids loved it! We got a little wet but it was a fun time. Will was getting lots of attention from the cousins and he was loving it.

We decided to head over to Disneyland for a little bit since California Adventure was closing. Addie had been begging for a "Baby Pluto" all day so we went and got one for her with her spending money. She was beyond happy. We did a little shopping, went on the monorail, then headed back to fantasyland for another ride on Dumbo!

On the way out, we caught the awesome firework show. We didn't have the best view (people seriously start saving places like hours before!) but it was a pretty cool show. That night, Addie spent the night in Grandma's hotel room!
Another fun, tiring day!
